- ASSEMBLY NOTES: Should Be Installed by a Professional Mechanic:
✔ Disclaimers – This product should be installed by a professional mechanic. Pressing in and removing bushings or ball joints requires specialized tools to ensure proper fitment. Incorrect installation may result in premature wear or suspension damage.
✔ Replacing the Control Arms – Remove the old control arms by unbolting them from the frame and knuckle. Clean the mounting points and install the new arms, ensuring bolts are torqued to manufacturer specifications.
✔ Replacing the Bushings – Use a hydraulic press to remove old bushings from the control arms. Clean the bushing housings thoroughly and press in the new bushings with correct orientation to prevent binding.
✔ Installing the Ball Joints – Use a ball joint press for removal and installation. Clean the mounting areas, then press in the new joints evenly without hammering to avoid damage.
✔ Alignment Required – A professional wheel alignment is required after installation to ensure correct suspension geometry, proper tire wear, and safe handling.
